This year's Walk to end Alzheimer's is set for Saturday morning, September 15 at Clat Adams Park and fundraising is underway for that event. A new fundraising opportunity recently was made available to Illinois drivers through the purchase of their license plates.  ENDALZ license plates supporting the Alzheimer’s Association are now available to all Illinois residents! You can order this one of a kind plate through the Illinois Secretary of State’s Office online or at any local Department of Motor Vehicle office including in Quincy at 2512 Locust Street.

These purple ENDALZ plates will create awareness throughout the state and raise vital funds in the fight against Alzheimer’s.  More than 220,000 people are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease in Illinois, and that number continues to grow.

To order your plate online, visit cyberdriveillinois.com and click on “Pick-a-Plate”, then “Specialty Plate”. There is an additional annual fee of $25, of which $23 will go to the local Illinois Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
