The Adams County Chapter of the American Red Cross will hold its 96th Annual Meeting and Volunteer Recognition Dinner at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013 at the Vermont Street United Methodist Church, 818 Vermont Street.  Anyone who has donated blood, time or financial help to the Adams County Chapter, as well as those who are interested in the work of the American Red Cross are invited to attend.

Annual awards will be presented to members of the community who have performed outstanding leadership and services to the chapter and community.  Recognition will be given to those individuals, groups, and organizations that have engaged in accomplishing the aims of the American Red Cross of delivering “service excellence”.  Individual service pins in recognition of 5 year increment service to the chapter will also be presented.

The board will also elect officers and new board members, as well as honor the retiring board members for their years of service during the business portion of the meeting.

Registered active volunteers may attend at no charge.  Any additional guests will be charged a nominal fee of $9.00.  Reservations should be made prior to the morning of the annual meeting on Thursday, June 20th.  For more information on the annual meeting or to make reservations, please call 217-222-2477.
