I should have never left the farm. There, I said it. Or do I just need a break?

I got into radio back in the 70s and it was a ton of fun. Got my start in Pittsfield, Illinois where I worked on the farm by day and did the radio thing at night. I loved it. Just spinning the tunes to people who really liked what I did. Nobody looking over your shoulder making sure you are playing the right music. It was free form back in the 70s. And what made it so fun was you never new what was going to be played on the radio next. That is why people tuned in every weeknight to hear the songs they wanted to hear.

It just seems now like the music is there to shock you, to say look at me and let me throw some cuss words at you just so I can shock you with what I can do. The problem is the words are getting worse. Little kids see this right in front of them. It is sad.
