If you are looking to do something different tonight for Halloween, the place to go is Woodland Cemetery as The Historical Society of Quincy and Adams County will be holding two "haunted" tours. Historical figures from the past will conduct the tours which begin at 6:30 and 7:30. As they stroll through the cemetery, the tour guides will tell the stories of several prominent diseased Quincy natives. One of which is former Illinois Governor John Wood.

The "haunted" tour admissions of $15 per person go to help fund the preservation of the grounds and other costs. Woodland Cemetery in 2002 was added to the National Register of Historic Places. The cemetery is located at 1027 South 5th street in Quincy.
