A Funnel Cake Burger! What’s Next?

Is it just me or is it getting harder to find just a hamburger or a hot dog on a plain bun. Hot dogs and burgers have all kinds of things on them these days to the point you almost can't see the hot dog or the burger when you get it.

The folks at Hardees have been adding excessive condiments on their burgers for quite some time now. It's not just dogs and burgers either. Pizzas now come with all kinds of things on them as well. Just last week the Texas Rangers baseball team announced that they are going to offer bacon flavored cotton candy and chicken fried corn on the cob at the ballpark this season.

The idea to write this article came when our station engineer Gary Glaenzer sent me the picture above featuring a funnel cake bacon cheeseburger. The idea for the burger came from Josh Scherer at CulinaryBroDown. Sure looks good, but I have to wonder what is coming next?  Stay tuned. Where are the napkins??????????
