The 5th Annual Missouri vs. Illinois High School All-Star baseball game is scheduled to be played on Saturday, July 22, in Hannibal. Event organizers Kevin Peters and Aaron Peters have announced the rosters for the 2017 Missouri vs. Illinois All-Star Baseball Game, sponsored by Benson Financial Group of Hannibal, Shottenkirk Toyota, and Refreshment Services Pepsi both of Quincy.

The game is scheduled for Saturday, July 22, at 7:00 p.m. (rain date is July 23 at 7:00 p.m.) at Clemens Field in Hannibal. Admission at the gate will be $8.00 and ages 5 and under free, gates open at 6:00 p.m.

The game will feature the top 40 seniors representing 22 high schools from Hannibal, Quincy, and the surrounding areas.  Listed below are this year's rosters for both teams.

Missouri roster: Gaven Comley, Jorden Billings, Josh Gibson and Trey Nichols, Bowling Green; Cooper Hudnut and Josh Kermoade, Canton; Addison Sprague and Cory Shatley, Clark County; Chandler Moffitt and Scot Roberts, Hannibal; Isaac Brown, Highland; Hays Klocke, Isaiah Prebe, Josh Hamlin and Kyle Strange, Knox County; Bailey McMillen, Cory Kunkel and Loren Carlisle, Mark Twain; Austyn Nevels, Monroe City; Collin Crook, Paris. Missouri head coach will be Clark County’s Jerry Jerome and assistants Shaun Parker and Canton’s Clint Smith.

Illinois roster: Mackiel Ruiz, Beardstown; Carter Lewis and Keaton Wort, Brown County; Lane Marlow, Central; Ian Smith, Griggsville-Perry; Jonah Burt, Illini West; Austin Ator and Korbyn Personett, Pittsfield; Ben Schroeder, Derek Green and Drake Green, Quincy; Johnny Ray and Wade Willer, Quincy Notre Dame; Cole Eilers, Southeastern; Isaac Werries, Triopia; Brodie Dunker and Jarett Dunker, Unity; Aleck Hively and Austin Ward, Western; Caleb Adams and Will Fox, West Hancock. Illinois head coach will be Beardstown’s Robin Lewis and assistant Illini West’s Zak Huston.
