As we prepare to say goodbye to the month of March, there are a number of activities on area calendar this weekend.

Townsquare Media and Refreshment Services Pepsi are partnering for the first Great Outdoors Show Presented by Mt. Dew Saturday and Sunday at the Oakley Lindsey Center in Quincy. The emphasis for the weekend is all things outdoors. The stars of the weekend will be the Dock Dogs Canine Aquatics Competition, with action both days. The show will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday.

The Hull Community Center in Hull, Illinois hosts its annual Spring Eggstravaganza Saturday, with an Easter Egg Hunt at 10 a.m., a Gift/Craft Show from 9 a.m.-2 p.m., a pet food drive and a benefit spaghetti supper from 4-8 p.m.

The Hannibal and Quincy Coin Clubs host a Coin Show Saturday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at the Quincy Mall with several dealers on hand.

The semi-annual 50 Miles of Art Spring Studio and Gallery Tour runs throughout the day Saturday and Sunday at various locations in Hannibal, Louisiana and Clarksville.

The Bluff City Theater presents the Big Band Concert of 1945 featuring the St. Louis Big Band with Joe Scalzitti at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Hannibal High School.

The Quincy Humane Society hosts its annual "Fabulous Furball" fundraiser Saturday at 7 p.m. at the Town & Country Inn and Suites in Quincy.

There's a benefit for Shannon Wagner Hendricks at the South Side Boat Club in Quincy Saturday beginning at 2 p.m.

And, the Triple Oaks Club Buffet Style Spring Breakfast is Sunday from 8 a.m. till noon at 3707 Bonansinga Drive in Quincy.
