12 Hours of Giving Starts This Holiday Weekend

Blood is always needed to help save lives and you can do your part to give the gift of life this Friday.

To kick off the holiday weekend, the American Red Cross is having their 12 Hours of Giving event this Friday (May 25) at Madison Park Christian Church (4700 Broadway) in Quincy. The drive runs from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, so there is no excuse to "not have enough time" to donate.

Reservations are not required, but are highly recommended. If you would like to donate this Friday, please call the American Red Cross to make an appointment at 1-800-733-2767 or visit RedCrossBlood.org. When you donate you, will receive a free t-shirt (while supplies last).

Please bring with you your blood donor card, driver's license or two other forms of identification. Those who are 18 years and younger may donate, but there are certain height and weight requirements that need to me met. All blood types are needed.
