Whether you're celebrating Valentine's Day with a loved one, a best friend, or the entire family, here are some fun events to check out.

Arts Quincy has several events for anyone wanting to celebrate Valentine's Day together. This weekend kicks off the Quincy Community Theater play Anne of Green Gables. The play runs this weekend only and tickets are still available. This production is kid-friendly and is a fun way to spend your weekend.

On Friday, February 9th, the Quincy Public Library will be hosting a Be My Valentine Kids Party. This event is free to attend.

My kids and I will be attending the Family Day & Paint Your Own Pottery event at the Quincy Arts Center which runs from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday. Cost is $5 for non-members and free for members.

On February 11th, join the Quincy Symphony Orchestra for Northern Passages (free for kids & college students). February 15th-17th, Quincy High School will be putting on their winter play On the Bridge to Midnight. All shows start at 7:30 PM and cost is $10 for adults and $7 for students.

Another local theater production, Bus Stop, will be taking place from February 15th - 17th, on the campus of Culver-Stockon College. This is free for all who attend. Encore will have their annual Fairy Tale Tea Party on Saturday February 17th, so make sure you reserve your spot. Also on the 17th, the Women's City Club will be hosting a Valentine's Day Buffet Dinner starting at 5 PM.

Saturday night on the 17th take your Valentine to Quincy Civic Music's Voces8. Starting at 7:30 PM, performing at Salem Church in Quincy, everything that this British Group sings is phenomenal. Wrapping up the Valentine's celebration is the Sunday music series Dixie Dads & Bob Havens, this is a free event at Salem Church.
